For a second season running, Ikorodu City FC are champions of the Lagos State Football Association Cup (2024) after defeating fellow Nigeria National League (NNL) side Inter Lagos, 2-0 in the final at the Mobaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan, yesterday Sunday 31st March, 2024.
Harrison Austin headed us into the lead in the 28th minutes as we headed into the break with the advantage before a second half penalty from Tosin Oyedokun close to the hour mark sealed our victory.
After previously winning the 2023 edition, defeating Box 2 Box on penalties, Ikorodu City successfully defended their title to continue their reign for another year as the best footballing team in Lagos State.
Ikorodu City have now won two successive FA Cup titles since formation in 2022 and have made it to the last four in all three editions we participated in since inception of the club.
