We have been drawn to face Kano Pillars in the opening fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) 2024/2025 season at the Sani Abacha Stadium and reigning Champions, Rangers International in second game of the season.

In what would be a significant journey, Ikorodu City will travel to Kano to take on the Sai Masu Gida who finished in 11th position in the NPFL 2023/24 season in what would be a first ever meeting between both sides.

Ikorodu City start their topflight campaign away from home on Sunday, September 8th, 2024 and return home to take on reigning and defending champions of the NPFL, Rangers International on match day two of the new season on the 15th of September 2024, in an epic rush of clashes.

These two clubs sit in locations that are pivotal to the story of the club as two seasons ago, Ikorodu City traveled to Kano for the second division relegation playoff and a season later, gained promotion to the top flight in the promotion playoff in Enugu.

Defending champions, Ranger International will take on President Federation Cup winners, El Kanemi Warriors as the opening game of the season on August 31st 2024, with the other fixtures for game week one holding the following week.
