It’s the first time this season we’ll take to the pitch in midweek, the tenth game of our 2025/26 campaign and another chance to test the rhythm we’ve been building.

After back-to-back home games on Matchdays 8 and 9, it’s time to take that momentum on the road and get the job done away from home.

Tomorrow evening, the stage shifts to Port Harcourt, where we go up against Rivers United at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.

The goal is to keep the run going, as we head into this one unbeaten in our last four.

Facing Rivers United

Facing Rivers United last season at the arena in November had us win 2–0, courtesy of goals from Ayomide Cole and former player Rivio Ayemwenre.

Away in Port Harcourt earlier this year in March, we came close to taking a point, but a last-minute goal saw us fall 1–0 after a hard-fought contest.

This time, we face them first in Port Harcourt, with the goal to deliver a stronger performance than we managed last season.

We have lost just one game this season, on Matchday 5 against Niger Tornadoes in Minna. It’s a sign of how solid we’ve been as a team, and our focus now is on growing even stronger with each game.

Team News

James Faith, Ayomide Cole, Moses Shodeinde, Kelechi Onwe, and Tosin Oyedokun are all sidelined with injuries.

Shola Adelani is still unavailable due to personal reasons.

Musa Maliq, who had a cut in the last game, has now recovered and is available for selection.
