Football is back at the Arena, and we love it, in the month of love 😍. It is our first home game of February, another chance to enjoy the occasion and share it with you, our dear fans.

It is Matchday 25 of the Nigeria Premier Football League, and this weekend sees us take on Niger Tornadoes as we look to continue our strong run of form at home.

Facing Niger Tornadoes

It was the 21st day of September, 2025. Having gone the first four games of the season unbeaten, we had hope, going to Niger, but football does not always follow the script, and it was a game where we fell off, 4–2, a disappointing one for us then.

We did not let that weigh us down. We picked ourselves up, and after that loss, we went eight games unbeaten, with five wins and three draws.

As we face Niger Tornadoes again this Sunday, the aim is to get the win and continue to show the supremacy we have at home, and also show how much resilience lies within us.

Team News

In some exciting news, Kelechi Onwe is back and available, but in less exciting news, skipper Waliu Ojetoye is unavailable. Junior Christian is also unavailable due to accumulated yellow cards, while Alfred Odinaka will miss out for personal reasons.
