In what was less than 48 hours after our defeat to Abia Warriors, the lads had to regroup to find a win in the last 16 of the 2026 Lagos FA Cup against Ikonnect FC.
In a game that was goalless after the first half despite our dominance, Goodluck Anuba came off the bench with the lucky charm to fire us in front three minutes before the hour mark.
The win sends us through to the quarter finals of the Lagos FA Cup for the fifth consecutive season (literally since we began playing in the competition) as we now face Gbagada FC in less than 24 hours.
