Ikorodu City grabbed its first win on the road in the Nigeria National League (NNL24) this season after a lone goal from captain Waliu Ojetoye made sure the Oga Boys remain top of the conference B table and also made it two consecutive wins in the league.

The home side started the first half looking to put in a commanding foot forward on their ground but the visiting side were equal to the task as both teams edged each other out.
Ikorodu City then took charge of the game creating chances but not being able to convert with the final pass lacking in many instances as the teams headed to the break without any goals.
The second half took ten minutes to spark to life when Waliu was played through on goal on the right flank by Paul Aderibigbe. Waliu drove into the box and slotted past the goalkeeper who was expecting a cross to give Ikorodu City the lead.
The home side became more aggressive and Ikorodu City looked to hit in the break but to no avail. Coach Bright made substitutions to keep the game in check and time went by and the full time whistle was blown.
The result meant Ikorodu City picked up their second win on the bounce, ending the month of April with three wins out of five games and a run of four games without defeat.
