A second fixture against Rangers International brought memories of many kind as we look to pick up points on the road this second half of the season. However, we fell to a two goal defeat from the defending league champions.

LINEUP: James Faith; Waliu Ojetoye, Uzondu Harrison, Chibuike Oheagbulam, Uzochukwu Okekeaniokete; Onwe Kelechi, Tosin Oyedokun, Olatunji Abdulmalik; Adelani Shola, Toyeeb Ajeyigbe & Emmanuel Solomon

The start of the game was dominated by the home side as we struggled to settle into the game, leaving goalkeeper James Faith with a heinous task of keeping us in the game.

James made multiple saves in the opening half hour of the game as we gradually began to create chances as Toyeeb drew a save from the goalkeeper.

Rangers however found the breakthrough just on the stroke of half time as Godwin Obaje headed to put the home side in front.

The second half returned with more pressure from the home side and a corresponding response from us. Waliu has a chance to restore parity but was thwarted by the goalie. Substitute Ayo Cole hit his effort into the sky and Austin also had a volley inches wide as we pressed on for an equalizer.

More substitutions were brought on in a bid to help find an equalizer. Dada Oladimeji came on for his debut and more questions were asked of James in goal as he kept the scoreline at 1-0.

Rangers however got a second in added time as Isaac Saviors cross was deflected in off new man Victor Ejukah and nothing James could do as we fell to a 2-0 defeat.
