After earning our very first point of topflight season in a tough battle under the flood light in Ilorin against Kwara United, Bright Ozebagbe shares his thoughts after the game.
The gaffer believed the players showed “character.”
“This is key for us, it boosts our confidence ahead of our game at home (against Rangers). The boys showed some character today and it paid off for us at the end.”
He also believes the team made an improvement in the second half of the game.
“We needed to keep winning second balls. Keep our concentration high and not make mistakes or be slopy, I think we corrected those this time.”
“The players who started the game did their part and those brought on helped stabilized the game.”
With the two game within the week in line for the team, the head coach believes the “confidence will be high.”
“Playing at home is different. The confidence level is different and high. The mentality is different. We will play our brand of football.”
