Ikorodu City Football Club will face Kwara United in their opening fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League 2025/2026 season at the Kwara Sports Complex.
The Annual General Meeting of the league body held on Monday 28th July in Abuja and the draws for the new NPFL season was held, revealing a trip to Kwara on the first matchday for Ikorodu City FC.
Ikorodu City also faced Kwara United in the early stage of their debut NPFL season on MD2 after the opening day defeat to Kano Pillars in Katsina. The game ended goalless with the OgaBoys picking up their first point and first away point of the season.


Ikorodu City defeated Kwara United in the return fixture, taking a total of 4 points from the Kwara side and will be hoping for the same at least in the NPFL26 as they face off first in the opener for the new season.
