IKORODU CITY FOOTBALL CLUB would like to state clearly that the name of the club does not have “United” in it but City.
The club would like to clear the air to the public, media, and Nigerian football stakeholders, that the club doesn’t bear the same name or have any affiliations with Ikorodu United or their owner.
Ikorodu City FC is run not by an individual but by a board of Directors, headed by Mr. Sanmi Doherty.
Ikorodu City FC was founded in January 2022 and guards its young but rich history with pride and would love not to be mistaken for another institution.
