Ikorodu City FC are through to the final of the 2024 Lagos State FA Cup for the second consecutive year after defeating First Bank FC 3-0 on Thursday in the semi final clash.

Ikorodu City looking to defend their title put two past the “banker’s team” in the first half courtesy of knock-ins from Ayomide Cole and Sulaimon Babatunde.

Waliu Ojetoye who put in an instrumental performance, creating both goals, was also responsible for the third when his cross from the byline after a good run was turned in by an opposing player.

The result means it’s a date with Nigeria National League (NNL) conference B rivals International Lagos on Sunday 31st March 2024 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena by 4:00pm.

Both teams are through to the Federations Cup as Lagos State representatives. However, Inter Lagos will be looking to win their first silverware months after formation while Ikorodu City are aiming to defend successfully a title they won in 2023 and are currently holders.
