Football never really stops, it pauses briefly, but it never truly stops.

Another weekend, another test. This Sunday, we travel to Aba to face Enyimba for Matchday 26 of the NPFL.

Last weekend’s win over Niger Tornadoes at the Arena took us to the top of the table. It is a good feeling, of course it is, but we are not getting carried away. There is still a long road ahead.

The focus remains the same, keep fighting, keep pushing, and see it through to the very end, in grand style and with an impressive performance.

Facing Enyimba FC

The first leg at the Arena on September 28, 2025 was a disappointing one for us. We dominated large spells of the game but could not break down the opposition to find a winner.

We conceded in the 12th minute through a Gift Udoh own goal, but we responded quickly just five minutes later.

Who can forget Kelechi’s exquisite long range pass into the box to pick out Arumala? Arumala timed his run perfectly and latched onto it to restore parity.

Beyond the frustration of that afternoon, we have faced Enyimba three times and are yet to record a win, with two draws and one defeat. This presents another opportunity, perhaps the perfect one, to change that narrative.

They have managed just one win in their last six games, and we will do everything possible to make sure this is the moment we finally get it right against them.

Team News

Ayomide Cole is out injured and unavailable to feature. Alfred Odinaka and Gift Udoh are also unavailable for personal reasons.
