Our second meeting of the season saw us play out another draw with Bayelsa United, same scoreline as the first game at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenogoa.
LINE-UP: Michael Atata; Junior Christian, Aliu Salawudeen, Jaguar Uche, Elijah Ujunwa; Kelechi Onwe, Tosin Oyedokun, Rasheed Owolabi, Joseph Arumala, Tomiwa Awojobi and Ayoola Ibrahim.
The game saw very few chances and the opening quarter was quite balanced and evenly matched until the 35th minute when the visitors struck off a corner that was becoming persistent at the time, a score that went into the break with Ikorodu City behind.
Folarin Temitope replaced Rasheed Owolabi just before the break and he proved to be the game changer as the second half had us in total command. Further changes saw Kelvin Briggs and Olanrewaju Molade both come on for their debut and Chidera replaced Ayoola up front as well.
It was the debutant, Olanrewaju who brought us level off a direct freekick that beat Clinton in goal for the visitors and get the fans off their seats.

A couple more changes came but it wasn’t enough to get us all three points as it ended 1-1 at the Arena.
